Centex Homes usually has about 20 different new home developments being built in the greater Phoenix area at any given time.

Like many Arizona home builders, Centex has won a number of awards. The difference is in the types of awards they have won. Centex has been named the "Most Admired Big Builder" multiple times by Big Builder magazine and also FORTUNE magazine's list of "America's Most Admired Companies." So not only are you dealing with a quality home builder, you are dealing with a quality company.

Another interesting fact is that Centex offers a "Two Year Fit And Finish Warranty". This is double the warranty length of most other home builders. This in addition to their typical 10-year structural warranty. Centex Homes must be confident that they are building a quality product to be offering the 2-year warranty.

Centex also focuses very heavily on building energy efficient homes. A key feature in their new program is an energy monitor, which will enable you measure and control your energy consumption. According to the NAHB Research Center, these energy monitors can potentially reduce electricity use by 4-15%. Centex will be the first national homebuilder to install a monitor in every home it builds.

Centex has many new home developments currently in Arizona. Their Peoria AZ new home development is The Preserve at Cibola Vista.

Centex has many other developments in the greater Phoenix area, but they are all outside of the city of Peoria so I am not focusing on them here.
